Mira Strauss
Mira Strauss is one of the most unique child actors in Central Florida. From drama to comedy, commercial, film and theater work, Mira's range makes her one of the most interesting upcoming talents in the area.

Recent Projects

  • Congratulations to Mira and her director Logan Donahoo! Donahoo's production of "Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You" was named the Patron's Pick for the Goldman Theatre (Yellow Venue) during the 2009 Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival. Mira played the role of Thomas in the controversial play by Christopher Durang.

  • Mira appeared as Mad Cat in "The Aristocats" for Next Generation Kids.

  • Mira was accepted into the Broadway Artists Alliance. She will be performing this summer in an industry showcase at an off-Broadway stage. She would like to send out a special thanks to Paul Castaneda for his assistance in getting her ready for the audition!

  • Mira appeared in a music video by Pavlina Osta.

  • Mira performed in the Greater Orlando Actors Theatre's production of the musical "Godspell."

  • Mira was a solo performer at the Playwrights Round Table's Fundraiser for John Goring.

  • Some photos from a recent photo shoot with photographer Suni Dougherty have been posted on the Photos page.

  • Mira recently participated in a private acting workshop led by Orlando actress Leesa Halstead, who has appeared in such shows as "SeaQuest DSV" and "One Tree Hill."

  • Mira participated in a private dance workshop led by Jocelyn Chmielewski, an Orlando native who played Duffy in the 2006 National Tour of "Annie."

  • "Monsieur Tall & Stella" is now listed in the IMDB. It has been accepted into the Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival, Cinewest: Auburn International Film Festival, the Washougal International Film Festival, and to the SoCal Huntington Beach International Film Festival as an Official Selection for 2008. The film from Bluesilver Productions is directed by Kristen Baker. The trailer is online:
